Soft
Water or Conditioned water, once thought to be a luxury, is now
considered a necessity for homes over much of the USA and most
of the developed countries and the world. The reason is simple,
by removing the calcium and Magnesium from water, soap curd and
scum is eliminated letting soaps and other cleaners perform to
their top capacity.
A
recent study by New Mexico State University at Las Cruces, New
Mexico found that the operating cost of your water heater may
be lowered up to 29% just from eliminating the build up of scale
from the elements or bottom of the heaters. As the average cost
of heating water is 15% of a home's energy cost, this represents

FIRST LINE METERED WATER CONDITIONERS |

There are presently several styles of electronic water conditioners available to condition water using micro chips to calculate water consumption and to set up regeneration cycles.
Krudico's First Line Metered Water Conditioners incorporate a built in mechanical meter on the outlet side of the control valve. As water is run though the water conditioner, the meter counts down how many gallons of water have been softened. When a pre-set amount of water has been used, the meter signals the control valve to regenerate that night at 2 A.M.
To eliminate the possibility of having hard water before the day is over, there is a reserve built into the water conditioner to insure soft water at all times.
Because the gallonage is counted by a mechanical meter and not an electrical powered micro chip, the correct water usage is calibrated even during electrical power outages.
Simplicity of operation and components means that Krudico's First Line Metered Water Conditioners are economical to purchase and will cost less to repair in future years.... all the advantages of salt and water savings as more expensive models, but designed with savings for the customer in mind.

FIRST LINE CALENDAR TIME CLOCK MODELS
Krudico, Inc. also has available the same high quality FIRST LINE control valve without the gallonage meter. This control valve has a 12 day "calendar" time clock. If your water usage is consistent on a day to day basis, this model of water conditioner is more economical without giving up the same quality soft water.
With
the non-metered FIRST LINE series, you simply set the time clock to
regenerate whatever sequence is required to fit your individual water
needs. The water conditioner can be set to regenerate every day, every
other day, every third day and so on.
